Moving from San Diego to Los Angeles in 1984,
the Clippers have been a part of Southern California for a long time.
They were quite good when Danny Manning was in his prime.
Billy Crystal is one of their biggest celebrity
fans and he has been spotted at countless games.
My favorite player on the Los Angeles Clippers
is Elton Brand.
Elton Brand joined the Los Angeles Clippers
starting with the 2001 to 2002 season after they traded
Tyson Chandler to get him.
Elton Brand did not disappoint. In the 2001 to 2002
season he averaged 18.2 points and 11.6 rebounds.
2002 to 2003 was more of the same as Elton Brand
continued to average a double-double.
The January 19, 2004 edition of Sports Illustrated discusses the
play of Quentin Richardson. Ian Thomsen writes about Quentin becoming a free agent.

Quentin Richardson is an exciting player to watch.
Leaving DePaul as a sophmore, he was taken with pick number 18
of the 200 draft by Chicago.
