Horse Racing Photography Posters, Prints and Images

Southern California has some of the finest race tracks in the country. Santa Anita Racetrack in Arcadia was used in filming the movie, Seabiscuit. Hollywood Park in Inglewood has both a world class horse racing track as well as a respected casino. Del Mar near San Diego is located along the coast. I've been fortunate enough to see horse racing at Santa Anita, Hollywood Park and Del Mar and I enjoy differnent aspects of each location. I've really enjoyed seeing Gary Stevens both at Santa Anita and at Hollywood Park. Santa Anita became a huge part in the history of female riders in 2003. Santa Anita hosted The 20th Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships in 2003. Julie Krone, aboard Halfbridled in the $1 million Juvenile Fillies, became the first female jockey to win a Breeders' Cup race. At Del Mar we saw a tremendous horse called Running Rene. One nice feature at these tracks is satellite wagering. This means even if the horses are at a different location you can bet on them from your favorite track.
