Grand Canyon Photography Posters, Prints and Images Information

About 100 miles from the California border, the west end of the Grand Canyon is a must-see for those living in California. The North Rim is closer to 200 miles from the California border but it is worth the trip. The Grand Canyon actually runs from East to West where it empties into Lake Mead. Many visitor options are offered in Las Vegas where helicopter and air plan tours are available. As a teen ager I was lucky enough to go river rafting down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. Our trip originated in Vegas where we were flown to the Northeast part of the National Park. Visitors can drive to the Grand Canyon from Los Angeles by taking the 15 North to the 40 East to the 64 North to Grand Canyonj Village or South Rim. On the Utah Arizona border, Lake Powell and the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area have a dramatic impact on the Grand Canyon. The damn at the Southwest end of Lake Powell determines how much water is flowing through the Grand Canyon. The river rafting companies stay in close communication with the damn authorities so that they know how much water is flowing down the Colorado at any given time.

Some of my favorite Grand Canyon pieces are Cape Royal From the South Rim of the Grand Canyon by Ansel Adams, the Supai Cliffs in the Grand Canyon by William Neill, Havasu Falls by John Gavrilis, The Grand Canyon in Arizona by James Blakeway, The Colorado River by Joseph Holmes, The Grand Canyon by David Noton, Mooney Falls by John Gavrilis, Havasu Falls by Christopher Talbot Frank, Golfing at the Grand Canyon, Red Bud Trees by Susan Dinker, Sunrise from the Grand Canyon, Grand Canyon by Thomas Moran, Arizona Sunset Near Grand Canyon by Thomas Moran, Grand Canyon by Joseph Holmes, North Rim - Grand Canyon by Walt Wooten, Grand Canyon by Dick Dietrich, Grand Canyon Rainbow, and Grand Canyon Waterfall by G. Meszaros.

The collection to the right also includes Grand Canyon calendars and Grand Canyon magnets in addition to the Grand Canyon photographs, paintings, art prints and posters.

Many of the Grand Canyon posters are by John Gavrilis. Our John Gavrilis Posters section displays many of his pieces from the Grand Canyon as well as his work from Carmel, California.
