Arguably the most influential California photographer in history,
Ansel Adams was an only child. Although he is one of the
most famous American photographers, he started out in music
playing the piano.
He devoted much of his time to the Yosemite Valley where
he met his wife Virginia Best. He got married in 1928.
As a member of the Sierra Club, he flourished in
photographing the Yosemite Valley.
He created many manuals on the technical aspects of photography.
He was born in San Francisco on February 20th, 1902. He passed away
on April 22nd, 1984.
