Laguna Beach Art History
Laguna Beach has a rich art history. Norman St. Claire came to Laguna Beach from San Francisco in 1903. Many other painters followed St. Claire and used a style of Monet's French Impressionists. Edgar Payne formed the Laguna Beach Art Association in 1903. Later this association became the Laguna Art Museum. The Pageant of the Masters grew out of the 1932 Festival of Arts.

Laguna Summer by Michael Hallinan shows people enjoying the beach. Michael Hallinan is truly a California Artist. Attending the Art Institute of Southern California on sholarship, He also went to San Jose State University and Long Beach State University.
