Dana Point Vistor Information
Dana Point is about half way between Los Angeles and San Diego.
It is bordered by Laguna Nigues and Laguna Beach to the north.
San Clemente is the neighbor on the south
while San Juan Capistrano is the neighbor on the west.
The city of Dana Point was named after Richard Henry Dana Jr.
The Dana Point Harbor is the gateway to Doheny State Park,
a well known California beach facility.
Doheny State Park allows visitors the opportunity
for sun bathing, body surfing, camping,
picnicking, swimming, surfing,
and bicycling.
Catalina Express and Catalina Explorer depart regularly from Dana Point.
We have art posters like the one below of Dana Point and other California beaches on our
California Beach Posters page.
